So, I think I asked you recently how Serah and Mako were doing so I'll ask if there's anything specific you would like to do with any of mine? Current and future.
Nimue could learn with Eureka about human relationships! We can compare notes. ♥
For Serah and Mako, I would love to have more threads in general. They can talk siblings, have a few more cooking lessons, or do gym practice. I need to put together a slumber party with her, and it would be great to have Mako help out with the quest for it.
They hit rock bottom, I think. And provided Bolin doesn't do something else stupid while apologizing to Mako, they should be hitting some sort of equilibrium soon. Though that would depend on how well Bo figured out what he did wrong in the first place, and Kira did spell it out for him. So. IDK, if he does it wrong then I don't know what we'll do. But I think that's not gonna happen.
Also, yes to Eureka and Nime. ♥ And I will never say no to Serah threads.
They will get sibling counseling. We have enough siblings to pull together a support group.
Mm, Serah gets up early, makes breakfast for anyone around, then she probably does some training for a few hours. When she finishes, she will find Lightning or pop by Emerald, then work on lunch. She spends the rest of her time at the shop until she heads in for the day. Sometimes, Serah will do shop in the morning then flip her schedule to the afternoon rather than morning, but she always makes time to cook, at least, one meal and visit sister.
HMM, Well, Mako gets up early to train, no matter what. If he trains multiple times a day, he's okay with that. Then, he'll head out and knock out like quests for food, if they need it, or soapstone keys if those need replenishing. Then he'll go find people to talk to, and check on Bolin at some point there. If there's time to do other stuff, he'll do another training session... But otherwise, his schedule is not quite as set in my head as I'd like...
Hmm, I would like to see a flexible game! I can't recall a game type that fits what I'm thinking of if it has happened, but I would like something that can come out radically different for each group depending on what they put in. I don't mean an exploradora game necessarily, but a game where teams are pushed inside rather than put against each other. See, now, I am inventing it in my head . . . But, yes, I would like something that can be built and be dynamic without leaving people to completely bring their own cards to the table.
So, what is going on with Nimue in Camelot, anyway? I haven't been paying close attention.
Lambda came entirely from left field for Vincent! See, when he began talking with her, he was concerned that she would be lonely with Nunnally having left with the rest, but he also admitted that he may not be the best person to be around her and was constantly telling Nunnally that he would back right off from her if she thought it would be better for Lambda. However, she refused to let him pull away, and he was rather touched by that. They kept everything rather vague and cryptic which was easy to not realize that they were establishing some relationship between them. Mmm, Vincent is really not as aware of others when it comes to their feelings towards him. Affection, curiosity, and so on . . . He tends to lean to thinking that he only attracts negative or neutral, ambivalent feelings from others, so he did not realize that Lambda did like him as much as she did until right as he said he was leaving. It hit like a Mack truck, oh man.
Of course, Vincent is a shameless hooker who loves to be loved and to love, even if he knows he ought not to. So, he is taking it and going with it right now. He isn't very sure about playing the threesome gamble with Nunnally and Lambda, because he would like for them both to be happy and enjoy themselves without spending too much attention on him. However, if they want him around, then he can work with that . . . Hilariously, Lambda definitely is more attractive sexually to Vincent than Nunnally, and we can all guess why. Good job, bloodplay witch.
For Lambda, it's a bit of what I mentioned in the last relationship update, and what she said to Nunnally when she was trying to explain the situation: in Aather, Lambda has put the constant pressure on herself to hold herself back and not behave in a way that would draw a significant amount of negative attention or make the CR she has formed uncomfortable, but her interactions with Vincent were one of the few times where she didn't feel much need to restrain herself at all. He also pushed her in a way that most people don't—and while it irritated her at times, it was significant in that most people barely manage to scratch the surface in their interactions with her. Hilariously, it led to her being more honest with him than she is with probably anyone else except Nunnally! And she did not fully realize how much she needed him around until he was leaving. Haha, but Lambda had not really been assuming Vincent was as invested in her (which she was perfectly okay with, but you know), so then him coming forward and having genuine feelings at her was like the final nail in the coffin... Dere dere.
So she's rolling with things, as it were... She's not confident in what's happening or what anyone's expectations are, but she loves Nunnally and she loves Vincent so whatever whatever. She is a little skeptical about letting him sort of just keep to the side, though, because while she knows that it's a situation that needs to be handled delicately, she also really doesn't want to encourage what she sees as his tendencies of not wanting things so as to not cause trouble... She wants him to want more things for himself......
What's Vincent's history with Peridot? I basically know the deal with Cal and Briar, but from the older days...
Oh, Peridot . . . Mmm, Vincent has always and still does love Peridot very much. At each turn, he sees Peridot as the encapsulation of a cohesive, loving group of people and team. Where he never was satisfied or content with Iolite except for rare moments, Peridot was never wrong in his eyes.
So, let me see what I can remember. Vincent did flirt and play around with Beatrice to the point where she was uncomfortable with him, but he backed off. They ended up becoming comfortable though straying from each other. He still respects her in his own way while severely questioning her taste in men. Vincent was also very close with Ariel, Cassie. They talked with each other, he understood her to a degree, and they even slept together a few times! However, when Vincent was responsible for killing Oz then Echo, she was upset with him and he played the unrepentant villain in order to give her a reason to separate herself from him as her sense of justice wouldn't reconcile well with his own. Mmmm, last but not least, Vincent was familiar with Lelouch, but he was always annoyed with him for causing Gilbert anxiety. Hilariously, the heart game where Vincent first "met" Nunnally was Lelouch's where Vincent floated around trying to fix everything so Lelouch would stop causing trouble for Gilbert. At this point, Vincent has realized that Lelouch slipped into a place that was originally his with Gilbert, and Vincent resents Lelouch deeply while understanding that they are two sides of the same coin.
While Gilbert was in the Book, Vincent did keep an eye on the team and try to nudge them to be cohesive and work together. After everything that had happened with Vincent and with Gilbert, he had to step away while still carrying that same fondness that sort of drew him to Briar and Cal . . .
How's Lambda doing right now? Minus that thread we're working on, of course.
She's doing alright! She's been through an enormous bout of ups and downs recently, but things have calmed down a lot after the alumni event and she doesn't have much going on at all at the moment. She's a touch lonely, but not to an extent that she can't suck it up. ... But yeah, things are pretty much an absolute lull, at least for the moment... She's mostly settled a lot of her ongoing affairs and she doesn't have much to work on or towards besides getting back the rest of her memories right now... though lulls and boredom don't sit well with her, so she'll probably go looking for trouble if it keeps up.
How is Vincent doing since his Good End? In general...
Serah thinks that Breeze is a pretty smart girl who is trying really hard with her team, but . . . Well, Carnelian is a good fit for her. She can definitely hold her own with them. So, she is definitely impressed with her ability to handle herself. Mmm, she is curious if Breeze has everything she needs as far as getting help or talking with others, because Aather can be rough for everyone but it can be harder if you don't have someone to talk with. But, like I said, Serah thinks that Breeze can definitely find someone if she needs to.
Eureka is completely different case. While she may come off as largely ambivalent to Breeze, she actually has a slight attraction towards her? Breeze can talk with Eureka in a manner that she can understand, deals well with twenty questions, and is very distinct. Comet definitely earns a few points for being outside of Amethyst, because Eureka already has a different schema when it comes to approaching teams, so she is more open to whatever Comet comes up with rather than fitting it into a system.
Breeze thinks Serah seems really nice and is just generally a cool person. She hasn't seen much of her outside of games, really, but Serah is always a good knight to have in a game and always tries her best and Breeze really likes that. Working together during Viola's heartgame gave Serah a big boost of positive feelings from Breeze, because she felt... really out of her depth in the heart and still kind of feels like that re: what effects it might have had on Viola. So knowing she wasn't alone there makes her feel less nervous about it.
As far as Eureka goes, Breeze first started approaching her because they looked to be around the same age, but now she's just kind of fascinated by her. Like, who reads an entire set of encyclopedias?? She likes their conversations because she gets to feel like she's contributing something to the way Eureka understands things, even if it's just dumb stuff like the word dude. She doesn't feel like Eureka cares much about her or their conversations, but as long as she doesn't feel disliked that's not really an issue for her.
Haha, Serah thought that he was a very good helper with making a snow person. He was nice, calm child that was almost strangely flexible and accommodating.
You will need to specify who and who, because I can go on for awhile . . .
Anyway, Eureka is definitely endeared to Haruki. ♥ While she works in her own way with each of the Amethyst kids, he hits her in a special place where she is more comfortable and open with him. He doesn't push her more than she needs, but he also supports her. She doesn't realize that he doesn't understand her completely, still she appreciates having someone behind her and believes that he does until she is proven wrong. Haruki makes her comfortable in her own skin which is rare for how she is with everyone else.
Haruki is similarly endeared to Eureka, even if he doesn’t know what to do with her sometimes. If he starts to feel like she is a child that needs to be raised there is an element of ABORT, ABORT, but she understands things enough now so that feeling has been mostly left behind. When she asks him questions he is of the mind that she is thinking critically and that is encouraging to him; he wants to be a person that can support her and facilitate that kind of growing if she needs it. There is a...potential there to mold her into someone with an ideal personality and world view, but he is forcing that away by encouraging her to think critically about things. He is assuming that somewhere down the line she does have a solid, stable personality that she already learned and that once she regains more of herself she will want to veer down that path. Even aside from her…social awkwardness, she is one of the few people he feels comfortable just relaxing around, probably because she won’t push conversation onto him and is equally content with sitting in silence.
Ok do Serah and Apple since I can’t think of any other questions right now
